CAMP WIRED 2026: MOVEMENT-BUILDING
This year’s Camp Wired explores the theme of movement-building. Our aim is for people to leave with new tools and connections that help strengthen their work towards positive social change.
Kicking things off is a panel discussion with Justine Sachs (New Zealand Nurses Organisation), Eru Kapa-Kingi (Toitū Te Tiriti) and Emma McInnes (Albert-Eden Local Board). The discussion will focus on how to bring a broad coalition of people together towards a common goal and key learnings from these respective movements.
This will be followed by a workshop on community organising principles led by Marlon Drake from Te Ohu Whakawhanaunga. We will round the day off with an interactive closing session from Cissy Rock about how to apply these learnings and principles in the context of our different mahi.
Date: Wednesday, 30 September 2026, 8:50am–3pm
The zoom will open at 8:50am for mix and meet in the online foyer and then we will be opening at 9am.
Hope to see you there!
