8th Grade African American Male Student Athletes
Award Amount: $250

Requirements:

*8th-grade black/African American male
*Participation in school or community sports
*Minimum GPA of 2.5 or teacher recommendation
*Three (3) letters of recommendation (coach, teacher, or counselor preferred)
*300–600 word essay:
"How sports have shaped my character and my future goals.”
*Athletic summary (sports participated in, positions played, achievements, awards, etc.)
