Training & Development Preseason (Elementary / Middle School)
An optional 8-week program that runs September 15 to November 7, before the competitive season begins. Training is Tuesday and Thursday, 6:00 to 7:30 PM for 4th, 5th and 6th grade and 7:30 to 9:00 PM for 7th and 8th grade, plus small-sided games with both groups together on Saturdays, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. All sessions are at Bessie Hoffman Gym, 50700 Willow Rd, Belleville, MI 48111.
It's built around small-sided games like 3-on-3 instead of standard 5-on-5, an approach backed by USA Basketball's Youth Development Guidelines and shown to build better passing, faster decision-making, and more enjoyment for kids at this age.
Cost: $400. It can be taken on its own, or bundled with Elementary / Middle School season enrollment. Bundling applies a $100 credit to the season fee (dropping it to $1,500); the preseason itself stays $400 either way.
