Education & Advocacy Committee | Community Launch, Visioning, & Social

Pride Cape Breton Society
Registration is not required to attend, but encouraged so we have an idea of anticipated attendance. This allows for us to reach out in the event of venue change, cancellation or rescheduling, etc. We will be providing Coffee, Tea, & some snacks; your registration will also support us to prepare! We ask that you please wear a mask to this event, as masking will be required to protect immunocompromised members. Thank you. Be encouraged to bring your own if your prefer a certain fit or style, though some masks will be available provided.

The committee social & launch will take place Thursday August 13th 2026 at On the Same Page Books at 311 Charlotte St, Downtown Sydney. Please note that the store will be open until 6:00pm. Social drop-in will be available from 5:30pm to 6:00pm during the last 30 minutes of store hours. The initial meeting and planning session will run from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. Future meetings, meeting frequency, goals and more will be determined as part of the committee launch.
