The Eastern American Diocesan Assembly is called on a three-year cycle. The agenda will include reports on the State of the Diocese, diocesan policies and procedures, finances and audits. Elections for Diocesan Council and the Auditing Committee will also take place. All clergy in the rank of priest and deacon are delegates and are encouraged to register and attend the conference. Each parish may designate a lay delegate equal in number to the priests and deacons assigned to the parish, up to a maximum of four lay delegates from any parish. See the Directive for details. The Assembly will conclude with a Liturgy on the feast day of the Optina Elders, followed by a trapeza. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in Nyack.
