Mainframe Studios is proud to present STEAM, a special exhibition exploring the intersection of Art with STEM fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
This exhibition seeks to highlight work that demonstrates how art can complement, interpret, and expand our understanding of science and technology. Work may illustrate research, humanize complex concepts, explore emerging technologies, or investigate the connections between creative practice and scientific inquiry.
STEAM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics used to describe and promote collaborations within the humanities and sciences and interdisciplinary work.
Submissions are welcome from a wide range of disciplines maintaining a reasonable connection to the theme.
All submissions are due by Sunday, September 6th at 11:59 PM (CST), and late submissions will not be accepted.
There is no entry fee to apply.
Accepted Works will be on display in multiple public gallery spaces at Mainframe Studios during the month of October 2026, with a special reception held during First Friday, October 2nd, 2026 5-8pm. All participating artists are encouraged to attend.
