    Come and Try Session

  • The Barossa District Basketball Club (BDBC) provides an opportunity for children from Williamstown, Lyndoch and surrounding areas to play basketball in the Barossa Valley Amateur Basketball Association (BVABA).

We cater for girls' and boys' teams (U10, U12, U14, U16 & U18) in the junior competition and also support women's and men's teams in the senior competition.

All games are played at the "Rex" (Barossa Aquatic and Fitness Centre) in Tanunda (typically on Monday and Wednesday nights for seniors and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights for juniors).  The main training night is Monday with the possibly of Wednesday evenings (depending on number of teams) at the Williamstown Primary School Gym.  The Summer season runs in-line with school terms 4 (2026) and 1 (2027) and will begin around the week starting October 12, 2026.  There are no games or trainings sessions during summer school holidays.

The data received from this form will allow the BDBC Committee to determine which teams can be formed and nominated to the Barossa Valley Amateur Basketball Association (BVABA) for the Summer 2026/27 season.
