2026–2027 Financial Agreement
Thank you for choosing Eastern Elite Volleyball Club! We appreciate your understanding and commitment to these financial policies. Timely membership dues allow us to meet our financial obligations, support our coaches, maintain our facility, and provide the positive volleyball experience our players and families deserve. We look forward to a successful and rewarding season together.
By signing electronically, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the following terms regarding player membership dues and financial obligations for participation with Eastern Elite Volleyball Club.
1. Use of Membership Dues: I understand Eastern Elite Volleyball Club operates on a not-for-profit basis. Membership dues are used to support the operation of the club, including but not limited to practice facility lease, upkeep, utilities, and cleaning supplies; equipment purchase, maintenance, and training gear; club, team, and coach registrations with the Carolina Region, USA Volleyball (USAV), and Amateur Athletic Union (AAU); coaches' background checks, apparel, stipends, travel expenses, and required training; required USAV coach educational clinics; preseason posted tournament entry fees; and club operational expenses, including insurance, legal, website, administrative, and other operating costs.
2. What Membership Dues Do Not Include: I understand that membership dues do not include player uniforms, player USAV and AAU memberships, or player travel, lodging, and meal expenses.
3. Payment Commitment: I agree to pay all membership dues in full and on time according to the payment schedule posted on the Eastern Elite website. I understand that Eastern Elite relies on membership dues to operate and fulfill its financial obligations throughout the season. Failure to meet my financial commitment will result in suspension from participation until my account is brought current. If my account is not brought current, Eastern Elite may pursue collection efforts, legal action, and notification to the Carolina Region of USA Volleyball (USAV).
4. No Payment Reminders: I understand that payment reminders will not be sent. It is my responsibility to submit all payments by the due dates posted on the Eastern Elite website.
5. Accepted Payment Methods: Eastern Elite does not accept cash payments. Payments may be made online by credit card through PayPal on the Eastern Elite website (PayPal charges a processing fee for this service) or by check or money order payable to Eastern Elite Volleyball and deposited in the Eastern Elite facility payment box. Coaches are not authorized to accept membership dues payments.
6. Late Payment Policy: A $35 late fee will be assessed monthly on any payment not received within five (5) days of its due date. Players whose accounts are more than five (5) days delinquent will not be eligible to participate in practices, tournaments, or other club activities until the account is brought current.
7. Returned Checks: A $35 fee will be charged for any returned check. Returned checks must be replaced with certified funds.
8. Resignation or Dismissal: If a player resigns or is dismissed from the club for any reason, the full remaining balance of membership dues for the season becomes immediately due and payable.
9. No Refund Policy: Upon payment of the acceptance deposit, I understand I have accepted a roster position with Eastern Elite Volleyball Club and am financially responsible for the full amount of this season's membership dues, regardless of reason. No refunds will be issued.
10. Failure to Participate: Absence from practices, tournaments, team activities, or other club events does not reduce or eliminate my financial obligation under this agreement.
11. Weather-Related Tournament Cancellations: Tournament entry fees are included as part of each player's membership dues. If a tournament is canceled due to weather or other circumstances beyond Eastern Elite's control, any refund or credit received from the tournament organizer will first be applied toward unrecoverable team expenses already incurred. If funds remain after those expenses have been covered, Eastern Elite may issue a club credit equal to the remaining amount. Club credits may be applied toward a future Eastern Elite season (if the player is offered and accepts a roster position), private lessons, or summer clinics. Club credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and expire twelve (12) months from the date they are issued.
12. Playing Time: Payment of membership dues does not guarantee any specific amount of playing time, role, position, or team status.
13. Service-Based Agreement: I understand that participation with Eastern Elite Volleyball Club is the purchase of services, not a product. I agree not to dispute or initiate a chargeback for payments made for services provided under this agreement. Any chargeback or payment dispute determined to be inconsistent with this agreement may be pursued through all available legal remedies.
14. Fundraising: In addition to membership dues, Eastern Elite Volleyball Club relies on fundraising efforts to support club operations and help keep membership dues as affordable as possible. All players are expected to participate in club fundraising opportunities throughout the season. Whenever possible, a portion of the proceeds generated by a player's fundraising efforts will be credited directly to that player's individual account in accordance with current club fundraising guidelines.
15. Acknowledgment: I have read and understand this Financial Agreement. I understand that membership dues represent a financial commitment for the entire season and that Eastern Elite Volleyball Club relies on timely payments to meet its operational obligations. By signing electronically, I agree to abide by all terms outlined above.
