Downtown Redmond Walk & Talk

Join Move Redmond during Week Without Driving and take this opportunity to share your lived experiences on what it is like to get around in Downtown Redmond with your elected officials, decision makers, and agency partners. Share your feedback on upcoming safety projects along 161st and 85th with City Staff and what they can do to improve bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure in Redmond. 

Gather at Downtown Park at 5:30 PM, and walk together along 161st and 85th St to Move Redmond's office where we will take time to reflect. The walk will begin at 6 PM and when we arrive at the Move Redmond office we will gather to celebrate the week without driving with snacks and drinks. 

We will walk approximately 1 mile total. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes & be prepared for unpredictable weather.

📍 Starting Location: Meet at Downtown Park (16101 Redmond Wy, Redmond, WA 98052)

🕔 Time: 5:30 - 7:30 PM

 🚶🏽‍♀️Walk Begins: Walk will begin at 6 PM 

🏁 Ending Location: We will end the walk at Move Redmond's Office (8525 163rd Ct NE #560, Redmond, WA 98052)

Liability Statement

I acknowledge that I wish to voluntarily participate in a Move Redmond event. These events may include, but are not limited to, group walks, bike rides, transit trips, educational talks, or other transportation-related activities.

I understand that participation in these activities involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to: collisions with vehicles or other participants, falls, equipment failure, uneven or hazardous surfaces, and weather-related hazards. These risks could result in injury, illness, or death. I freely and knowingly assume all such risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen. 

Release and Indemnification
In consideration for being allowed to participate, I agree to RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND INDEMNIFY Move Redmond, its employees, volunteers, board members, contractors, sponsors, and partners from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action that may arise from my participation in any Move Redmond event or activity. This includes, but is not limited to, claims of negligence, personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death.

 

Photo Release 

I understand that photos or videos may be taken during the event. I grant permission to Move Redmond to use my likeness, name, voice, and image in any photographs, videos, or other recordings for promotional or educational purposes, without compensation or further approval.
