The Assistant Hong Kong Programme Officer will provide comprehensive administrative, operational, and coordination support to the Hong Kong Programme Team, particularly school-based programmes addressing the mental health of children.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Project coordination
- Support Manager in the operation of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Child Protection programmes, including organizing school-based workshops and events, reviewing and developing programme materials, handling logistic arrangements, etc.
- Coordinate and liaise with related external parties including funders, implementation and research partners, programme facilitators, schools, community groups, corporates and other key stakeholders
- Collect activity data, monitor progress against both programmatic and budgetary targets to ensure programme improvement and quality
2. Administration support
- Perform general clerical duties including minutes taking, photocopying, fax and mailing, managing filing system & project database.
- Support in coordinating procurement and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
- Provide operational and administrative support to related research, marketing and communication initiatives, including documentation and data entry.
- Produce accurate and timely reports.
3. Assist in other programme activities or organizational projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Degree holder preferably in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or related disciplines

Experiences in working with children, school-based projects or mental health initiatives is a plus

Possess a can-do attitude and willing to learn. Willing to engage with different types of individual and community groups

Self-initiated and responsible personality, able to work independently and multi-tasking with strong problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and communications technologies. Proficiency in design software and able to make use of different AI tools to optimize workflow efficiency is highly desirable.

Willing to work on weekends or in the evening duties when required
