People’s Choice Award

Award description
 This award celebrates a Crocus Country business that has earned a special place in the hearts of the people it serves. It may be known for its welcoming atmosphere, friendly service, community involvement or simply the way it makes people feel. Five finalists will be selected from the written nominations, and guests at the Crocus Awards Gala will choose the winner.
 Eligibility
• The nominee must be a business located in the Crocus Country region.
• The business must be currently operating and in good standing.
• The business must agree to have its name included in the People’s Choice vote at the gala.
What the judging panel will consider when selecting the five finalists
• The reasons the business is valued by its customers and community
• Friendly, welcoming or memorable customer experiences
• A strong reputation and loyal community support
• Community involvement or support for local causes
• Specific examples that show why people appreciate the business

Information for nominators
There is no required length. Please provide enough specific detail to help the judges understand why this business deserves to be recognized.
The judging panel will base its decision only on the information included in the nomination. Please provide complete, accurate and truthful information, using specific examples whenever possible.

How the winner will be chosen
The judging panel will review the written nominations and select five finalists.
The five finalists will be presented at the Crocus Awards Gala.
Each gala guest may vote once for their preferred finalist.
The business receiving the most votes that evening will receive the People’s Choice Award.
