Community Champion Award

Award description
This award celebrates an individual who gives generously of their time, energy or talents to make Crocus Country a better place. Whether through volunteering, organizing events, supporting local causes, mentoring others or simply being there when help is needed, this person shows genuine care for the community and inspires others to get involved.
Eligibility
• The nominee must be an individual rather than a business, organization or service group.
• The nominee must live, work, volunteer or otherwise contribute within Crocus Country.
• The nominee’s contributions must primarily benefit people, organizations or communities within Crocus Country.
• Contributions may be made independently or through involvement with a local group, organization or community initiative.
What the judges will consider
• The positive difference the nominee has made in the community
• An ongoing commitment to helping others
• Leadership and the ability to inspire others to get involved
• Cooperation with local groups, organizations or community initiatives
• Generosity, compassion and pride in Crocus Country
