This request form is to inquire about booking with Nina Aston at Timber Hearth Tattoo Co.
PLEASE NOTE:

I am currently booking for NOVEMBER 2026-JANUARY 2027, and book appointments SUNDAYS -TUESDAYS only, as well as the first SATURDAY of each month. This form will be open until I reach the max amount of inquiries I am able to book to fill this window of time. Please allow anywhere from 1-2 weeks for a response from me via email (nina.artandink@gmail.com). It takes me a lot of time to read through submissions and complete correspondence with each person, so please be patient with me! To make sure you receive my email response, please add my email address to your contacts on whatever system you use (gmail, yahoo, etc.) to ensure my response to your inquiry doesn't go straight to your spam folder. This ensures you receive it, but also that you're able to respond to any design/appt questions I may have in a timely manner. If I don’t hear back within 48 hours once I email you , I’ll have to move on to others waiting to book and you may miss out on scheduling with me this round.
MatchingTattoos/ Group Appointments

- If you are looking to book an appointment at the same time as someone else or as a group, please include personal contact and design info for EACH PERSON in the design detail field. I will use the contact info listed directly below as the main point of contact for scheduling, and cc the others in my email response so it all stays in one thread. DO NOT SEND IN MULTIPLE INQUIRIES. This gets complicated too quickly and delays the booking process.
Consults

- I require in-person consultations for any rework, tattoo cover up, or scar cover up projects to be done first before booking. If it is a large project, the details of the design are very specific/complicated, or the design requires working with or around a lot of preexisting tattoos- I may opt for a consult before we move forward with booking. If the design information you give below is too unclear, you may not get a email response to complete booking.

Tell me more about your design here! Include the following; the exact subject matter, preferred style, other unique elements ,etc. I can't read your mind, so I need to know what your vision for this tattoo is - especially if this is a custom piece. (Ex. “A fineline/realistic chickadee flying up my inner forearm, with small flowers/leaves around it. I'd like it in a side view vs from a top up view”.
Feel free to refer to the reference photos you’ll attach as well, bonus points if you mention what you like and don't like about them (I don't copy other designs or work by other tattoo artists) so I know what you're really looking for! Please don't refer to references photos by number (ex. "in the first photo..") as they may upload out of order.

KEEP IN MIND that I do not copy other artist’s work - they will strictly be used as reference for me when I draw your design. Upload a photo of the exact area(s) where you want your tattoo . Take them in good lighting, and use the timer in your camera settings or in the mirror so that you're in a neutral position. Otherwise, I can't use it to properly plan out your design.

If the tattoo placement is in more of a private area and you don't feel comfortable uploading a photo, attach an inspo photo showing the same/similar placement. I will let you know if one is needed or if an in-person consult is necessary.

Which days work better for you for scheduling your appointment? I only work Saturdays-Tuesdays 930am-330pm, and weekend spots fill up FAST - so the more flexible you are the more likely it is that I can get you booked! (pick all that apply).
Any other scheduling constraints? (I.e. out of town/on vacation on certain dates, or work/childcare constraints during certain times of the day).
Reminder..again - I work Saturdays-Tuesdays ONLY, booking only from 9:30am to 3pm
Keeping in mind my hourly rate/ shop minimum of $150, do you have a budget range you need to stay within for this design?

Are there any other accommodations you'd like made or other things that I should know about to make this experience a good one for you? I.e limited mobility/wheelchair use, sensitivity to loud noises/environments, high anxiety about the tattoo, fear of needles/blood etc.
This just helps me gauge how I can ensure you have a comfortable experience with us!
Do you have any allergies or sensitivities I should be aware of? (I.e allergies to latex, adhesive, or anything that cause severe anaphylactic reactions - like to nut oils)?

Once you submit this inquiry and I am able to review it, you should receive an email from me to the email you provided earlier (as long as all the information is provided accurately and it is a project I am able to pick up). Please allow anywhere from 1-2 weeks for an initial response from me. I am only one human, so sometimes it takes me a while to get through requests! Filling out this form does NOT guarantee a spot on the schedule. In my email to you, I will ask any clarifying questions about your tattoo, give you a quote, and send you 1-2 openings to choose from based on the schedulding preferences you gave me. You will have 48 hours to reply to that email with a chosen date, after that I will have to offer those spots up to someone else if I don't hear back from you in time- delaying your ability to book with me this time around (so please keep an eye out for my email and add my email to your contacts so you don’t miss it!). I will then send you a payment link for the deposit. This link is to my Square point of sale to both collect the deposit amount and contact info needed to finish scheduling your appointment. I do not accept Venmo or Cashapp payments. The deposit is: $25 for tattoos quoted at $150, $50 for tattoos quoted above $150, $100 for all-day sessions. The deposit is due 24 hours after it is sent to you via email. If not received, I will have to give your appointment spot to someone else and you’ll have to pick a new date.The deposit is nonrefundable, but is counted towards the total due the day of your tattoo appointment. If you cancel your appointment within 72 hours or no call/no show - you will forfeit your deposit and a new one will have to be paid in order to schedule with me again in the future.
I have read the information above, and understand in order to get my tattoo booked, I will need to correspond in a timely manner once I receive an email regarding my inquiry and will be prepared to pay my deposit within 24 hours of receiving that payment link.
