    • Southern Berkshire Youth Football (SBYF) is a not-for-profit, recreational football and cheerleading program for youth ages 5-14 in Great Barrington and the surrounding towns. The purpose of the league is to develop the players football skills or cheerleading skills through physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork and leadership.
      SBYF has scholarship funds that have been donated by generous donors to help support the mission of SBYF. Each year the league makes these funds available to families who need financial assistance with the registration fees.
      Please fill out this application form to be considered for a scholarship.
      Scholarships are limited however, based on need one may qualify for a partial or full scholarship. Upon receipt of this application, the SBYF board will review your information to consider your request. Applicant information will not be discussed outside of the SBYF Board.
      **Please Note: Approval of a scholarship does not register the participant; you must still register your athlete officially on the league's registration page.
      After review, a SBYF Board member will reach out to you as soon as possible.
