Santa Claus Parade Information Sheet

Rules and Requirements:
- The parade starts at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 28th, 2026.
- All entries must be decorated in a festive holiday theme.
- No Santa Claus figures allowed (Santa will appear at the end of the parade).
- Participants are kindly requested to line up in their designated locations by 10:00 a.m.
- An email will be sent 2 days prior to the parade, and participants should fill in their email address on the registration form.
- Parade Marshals will greet participants at the corner of 2nd Ave and 21st Street and will guide them to their designated line-up spot.
- The line-up details will also be printed in the Macleod Gazette on Wednesday, November 18th, 2026, and on the Facebook page.
- If a business has generously donated to the parade and has a banner to be carried, banner bearers should be at the corner of 2nd Ave and 21st Street.
- The banners will be ready for pickup, and the marshal will signal entry into the parade when it is the business's turn.
- When distributing candy, participants should walk alongside the float because candy is not permitted to be thrown from the float.
- Participants are responsible for their own safety and conduct.
- A minimum $2 million liability insurance coverage is recommended for all participants.
- By submitting this form, you agree to comply with all parade rules and instructions from officials.
