1. Location and Time: the contest will be at the 2026 Rat Rod Rendezvous located at 2751 Market Street, Mahtowa, MN 55707 on Sunday September 6th, 2026
2. Check in is at 12pm at The Northern Stellas Booth. The contest starts at 1pm.
3. Theme – Rat rod and traditional rockabilly
4. Meeting spot for contestants – Look for the Northern Stellas booth past the gas pumps along the walkway. We will have support gear for sale and a nice shady place for you to rest.
5. Contestants – We are looking for 10 contestants and 2 alternates. $20 registration fee to be paid via the money app of your choice. Venmo - @Northern-Stellas, PayPal – The Northern Stellas, or CashApp - $Northernstellas
6. Judges – We will have three judges. There are four categories, 1-5 rating, with a total of 20 points available. Criteria - Stage presence, vintage aesthetic, personality, and overall impression.
7. Rounds – There will be one round. Each contestant will come on stage as their bio is being read, do their poses, then pick a random interview question, give their answer, and exit stage. The ladies will be invited back on the stage one by one; judges will tally scores and should be ready to announce the winner by the time all of the ladies are back on stage. Winners will be crowned and we will take a few minutes for pictures.
8. Titles – There will be a top 3, Fundraising Supreme and a Miss Congeniality. Winners will receive a crown and sash. Winner – Miss Rat Rod Rendezvous. 1st RU – Miss Rusty Sunday. 2nd RU – Miss Country Corner Cutie. Fundraising Supreme: Miss Beacon of Hope. Pin Up choice: Miss Sausage Queen (Mahtowa is known for their delicious bratwurst):
9. Fundraising: will be for the Invisible Wounds Project.
10. Extras – We will encourage you all to come early, check out the cars, listen to the band, grab some food, get photos taken, visit with the other contestants, and mingle with the crowd before the show starts.

This is a kid friendly show, so we ask that you be mindful when choosing your outfit.
Be respectful to other contestants, judges, event staff, and its space.
No drugs, alcohol, or lewd behavior will be allowed.
Be respectful of the cars and car owners at the show. For photos, do not sit on or in a vehicle without the owner’s consent first.
