Artists should submit digital images of 4 to 8 works produced in the last 10 years immediately prior to the application date (November 16 2026, i.e. works produced since November 2016).
All submitted artwork must be original works of art such as (but not limited to): painting, carving, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, electronic media, photography, textiles, glass, regalia, jewelry and drawing, and should reflect the artist's best work. Ideally the work, or similar pieces, will be available for an exhibit at the Yukon Arts Centre Gallery from September - November 2027, and potentially for other shows outside the Yukon.
The application form requires that you upload one to three images of each of the artworks that form your entry in this competition.
- Artworks were produced during the ten years immediately prior to November 16 2026
- Label Images as: Artist's last name, first name, title, (number if more than one photo of same work is submitted), year completed.
- Example: Doe_ Jane_SunriseonLake_ 2of2_ 2020.
- Do not include special characters such as #,!, * or stray spaces in the file name. Doing so may prevent the file from uploading.
- Images should be jpg, tiff or png formats. They should not exceed 3MB in size.
- Provide clear and in focus images. These images represent your work.
In the sections About Artwork, please provide the Title, Date, Medium, and Dimensions for each piece in the space provided.
In addition, you are encouraged (but not required) to share the story behind each work of art.
