• Nighthawks WINGS Semiconductor Camp Registration

    We are excited for you to participate in the Nighthawk WINGS Semiconductor Camp! Please fill in the registration information below. A link will be sent to your parent or legal guardian to give permission for you to attend the camp. You cannot attend the camp unless your parent or legal guardian completes the waiver. We will send a registration confirmation once the waiver is complete. Also, space for the camp is limited and registrations will be processed on a first-come first-serve basis.   • The camp is scheduled to run from 9:00am-2:30pm on October 22, 2026 so that you can return to your school before the end of the school day. For those who can stay, we are offering a hands-on experience in our semiconductor lab from 2:45-4:00pm. Space is limited and will be awarded on a first-come first-serve basis. Please indicated if you would like to stay for the hands-on lab experience.*

  • CONDUCT POLICY:

    1. Between the beginning and ending of the Program, participants may not drive or ride in any vehicle except their own personal vehicle without prior written permission from a Parent/Guardian.  All vehicles must be parked in accordance with Northwest Nazarene University (“University”) policies.

    2. Participants are to remain on campus for the duration of the program unless program activities require otherwise. If participant needs to leave campus for some reason, Program Administrators must receive prior written permission from the parent or guardian, and grant specific permission.

    3. Campus regulations prohibit the use of alcohol, tobacco, and illegal substances. Participants may not possess, use, distribute, or sell alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, drugs, firearms, weapons or fireworks.

    4. Participants may not misuse internet privileges. Attempting to access unauthorized sites vis NNU wifi is strictly prohibited.

    5. Participants must abide by rules and guidelines set by the coaches, instructors, and/or supervising adult, for each facility in use.

    6. Any individual found tampering with any fire equipment (i.e. fire extinguishers, fire alarms, smoke detectors, etc.) will be dismissed from the Program immediately. Participants may not interfere with any security system or tamper with locks in participant rooms and other areas.

    7. Vandalism and pranks will not be permitted. Any damages caused in rooms or common areas will be charged to the responsible party.

    8. No theft or violence (including sexual abuse or harassment), hazing, or bullying in any form will be tolerated.

    9. The inappropriate use of cell phones, cameras, imaging, and digital devices is prohibited, including use of such devices in showers, restrooms, or other areas where privacy is expected.

    10. Valuables, including money, jewelry, electronics, cell phones, etc. brought onto campus are at the participant’s own risk.  The University is not responsible for any loss or theft.

     

    DISCIPLINARY POLICY:

    Each participant has a reasonable expectation to enjoy a positive program experience. Therefore, the misbehavior of one participant, or a group of participants, should not be permitted to impact negatively on the program experience of others. Most programs are short in duration, so prompt action is required when problems occur.

    First Offense:  Participants failing to adhere to program rules, or exhibiting behavior clearly intended to annoy or endanger other participants, will be formally warned by a Program Counselor and informed that subsequent misbehavior will result in formal counseling by the Program Administrator.

    Second Offense: Subsequent misconduct will result in counseling by the Program Administrator and a warning that further misconduct will result in removal from Program. At this point, the Program Administrator will contact the parent or guardian to advise him/her of the situation and the possible need for picking the child up from camp if there is further misconduct.

    Third Offense: Any further inappropriate behavior will result in counseling by the Program and expulsion from Program Administrator.

    NOTE:  The University expects that each participant have the opportunity to experience a successful program experience.  In furthermance of that goal, any of the steps outlined above may be omitted or repeated at the discretion of the Program Administrator.  Participants dismissed from a Program for discplinary reasons will not receive a refund of any fees paid to attend the Program. 

    It should be understood this procedure is intended to provide a reasonable and consistent method for dealing with the type of behavior that can be disruptive to a program, but is not so egregious as to warrant immediate dismissal from the program. It in no way precludes immediate dismissal from the program for more serious disciplinary problems or violations of campus or program regulations. A serious disciplinary problem is defined as one in which the program staff determines that a Participants is engaging in inappropriate behavior that includes, but is not limited to the following: actions which  put  the  participant,  other  participants,  or  program  staff  member’s  safety  in  jeopardy;  physical,  emotional,  or electronic harassment/harm against self, program staff or fellow program participants; inflicting physical or emotional harm on self or others, vandalism or destruction of University property; theft of University property or the property of another participant; consistently disrupting the program; possession of alcohol, drugs, or weapons; fighting; sexual harassment; or behavior that is serious enough to warrant a third offense.

     

    EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION PROCEDURES

    In case of an emergency or conduct violation requiring notification, Parent/Guardian will be notified as soon as practicable at the primary number provided and, if unsuccessful, a secondary number provided (if any). 

    For every Camp/Clinic, Parents/Guardians will be provided with a phone number and/or email address to contact the Program Administrator should it be necessary.
