    Thank you for registering for a Rising Stars Youth Theatre workshop! We are excited to welcome your child/teen and look forward to an amazing production experience. Please review the information below carefully. By signing this form, you acknowledge that you have read/agree to these policies.

    1.  FALL 2026 PROGRAM DATES & SCHEDULE

      LOCATION:
      Pehrson Hall - adjacent to the First Presbyterian Church of Sparta
      32 Main Street, Sparta, NJ 07871

        FALL 2026 Workshop  

      THE ADDAMS FAMILY: A New Musical
      Mixed Division (Grades 2–12)
      Rehearsals: Sundays
      Starting September 6 - Ending December 5

      Tech Week: 
        November 29 (Sun) 1–5PM ·
        November 30 (Mon) 5PM–8PM ·
        December 2 (Wed) 5PM–8PM ·
       
      LiveShows:
                   DECEMBER 4 @ 7PM
                   DECEMBER 5 @ 2PM & 7PM


      All shows and Tech Week attendance are mandatory.
      Excessive absences or unexcused absences may result in changes to casting or participation.

    2.  FEES & PAYMENT

      Standard Registration Fee: $575 per child, per program
      Late Registration Fee: $625 (if registering after deadlines and limited to ensemble only)
            Payment must be completed within 24 hours of accepting a role.
            We accept PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle.

      Mandatory Costume Fee: $25–$100 (exact amount announced midway program)

      Show Tickets: $20 per person (available online via Zeffy )

      Cast T-Shirts (optional): $22 (up to XL) | $27 (larger sizes)

      Playbill Booster Ads (optional): $40–$70

    3. KEY POLICIES SUMMARY

      The following is a brief summary of our most important policies.
      Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.

      No Refund Policy:
      Rising Stars maintains a strict no-refund policy. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

      No Transfer Policy:
      Registrations cannot be transferred between programs under any circumstances.

      Attendance:
      Missing more than 3 days may result in removal from the program without a refund. Lead roles missing 2+ days may be recast to ensemble. Tech Week is mandatory — no excused absences permitted.

      Behavior:
      Rising Stars maintains a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, disrespect, foul language, or inappropriate behavior of any kind — in person or online. This policy applies to parents and family members as well.

      Conflicts:
      All scheduling conflicts must be submitted in writing. Verbal conflicts are not valid.

      Cell Phones:
      Cell phones must be put away during all rehearsals. Use is permitted during designated breaks only.
      If cell phone usage disrupts rehearsals or others, cell phones will be collected at the beginning of each rehearsal and given back before dismissal.
      Rising Stars is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.

      Pickup:
      Parents are responsible for ensuring their child is picked up promptly after rehearsal.
      Students may only leave with an authorized adult unless written permission has been provided.


    4. WHAT TO BRING & DRESS CODE

      Each student should bring:

      Lunch (for longer rehearsals)
      Water bottle
      Script
      Pencil/highlighter
      Dance clothing
      Appropriate dance shoes or sneakers
      A complete supply list is available on each Band App page

      ** Jeans, UGGs, and Crocs are NOT permitted.

       

    5. CAMPUS LEAVE POLICY (For Summer Intensives Only):

      Only Students ages 14 and older, may leave campus in groups of 2 or more to these select nearby restaurants: Cloveberry, Asian Island, Cafe Pierrot, Burger King, Tokyo Sushi

      Those who are licensed drivers may venture out to: Anthony Francos, Sparta Diner, Dunkin Donuts, Frank's Pizza, Sushi Ya, Boneyard, Lake House, Casa Mia, St. Moritz, Kroghs -- only if the Permission to Leave Campus form is signed and submitted by parent.

      ** For insurance purposes, only siblings of licensed drivers may leave with their licensed sibling - no exceptions.

    6. PARENT EXPECTATIONS
      We ask all families to help create a positive and respectful environment by:

      Encouraging performers
      Respecting directors and volunteers
      Following rehearsal and performance schedules
      Supporting all cast members


    7. DANCE SHOE & BASE COSTUME GUIDE

      Information will be posted on each BAND APP page as to what each performer will need and will have, along with Amazon links for easy purchase.


    8.  STREAMING VIDEOS

      Depending on the theatrical right company, some shows are NOT ALLOWED to be streamed nor video-taped and sadly we must abide by ALL rules.
      When we have the rights to "video" them, we share YouTube links on the Band App.
      Links the the show videos, will be posted on Band.


    9. PARENTAL CONSENT & AGREEMENT
