SECTION 7: DANCE ASSISTANT EXPECTATIONS
Dance Assistants must arrive on time and be prepared; wear appropriate dance attire and footwear; follow all FineLine Theatre Arts policies and faculty direction; serve as positive role models; encourage younger dancers in a positive and age-appropriate manner; remain attentive and engaged; avoid using personal phones while assisting; communicate absences or scheduling conflicts as early as possible; and understand that they are not instructors and may not teach, correct, discipline, or physically assist students unless directed by the instructor. Assistant assignments may change based on enrollment, scheduling needs, availability, student performance, or studio needs. Participation is a privilege and may be reviewed or discontinued if expectations are not met.
