Thank you for your interest in hosting a TAYW youth wrestling tournament this upcoming season. We recognize that hosting a successful tournament requires a tremendous commitment from your coaches, volunteers, and supporters, and we sincerely appreciate your willingness to invest that time and effort in growing youth wrestling across Alabama.

Please complete the following application as thoroughly as possible. The information you provide will assist the TAYW Tournament Committee in evaluating tournament requests and developing the upcoming season schedule. Submission of this application does not guarantee approval of your requested tournament.

Host Tournament Requirements

By submitting this request, the host club acknowledges and agrees to provide the following:

Order 100 medals of each place (1st–4th) for all weight classes.
Provide a reliable internet connection, tables, chairs, blank paper, and other necessary facilities for the TrackWrestling Coordinator.
Provide staffing and a certified scale for weigh-ins.
Staff and equip each competition mat with score tables and chairs
* Minimum of three workers (timer, scorer, and bopper) per table
Pencils, scorecards (or timers), and one set of red and green ankle bands
Paper towels and cleaning supplies
Provide concession services for participants and spectators.
Provide a hospitality room for coaches, tournament workers, and referees.

Competition Area Safety Requirement

All mats within the competition area must be completely enclosed by rope or another TAYW-approved barrier. There are no exceptions to this requirement.

Failure to comply may result in:

A fine of up to $250 assessed against the host club.
Suspension of competition until the venue is brought into compliance.
