Highly tolerant of heat, drought, wind, pollution, compacted soil, occasional flooding, and a wide range of soil pH. Prefers full sun but tolerates light shade. Small purple berries persist into winter. Fast growing and adaptable. Great choice for urban and tough sites for trees.

Sparse branching when young but develops into a magnificent shade tree. Unknown whether will be male or female, so may bear pods. 

Large tree (50' and greater). 50-75' x 35-45'. Beautiful red, purple, and orange fall colors. This cultivar is selected for its form and low fruit production. Prefers acidic, moist soils, but tolerates dry sites. May become chlorotic in alkaline soils.

Large tree (50' and greater) 45-60' x 20-30' .  A narrow, upright selection of the Linde n, making it better suited for smaller spaces. Fragrant pale yellow flowers in the early summer. Heart shaped leaves with yellow coloring in the fall. Prefers full sun to partial shade and moist, well drained soil. Prefers slightly acidic to neutral pH. Some drought and salt sensitivity.
