    A Note About Serving in Our Ministry

    Working in our program is more than a job; it is an opportunity to serve the Lord by investing in the lives of the next generation and an opportunity to serve our community by providing a wholesome, back to basics, educational environment for families.  As a ministry, we strive to not only be good stewards of the resources entrusted to us, but to also keep our expenses low so we can keep student fees as low as possible. One way we cut costs is with a salary and hourly compensation plan. We know that secular salaries are considerably higher but we also know that our math and God's math don't match up. We fully trust our Lord to take care of all of our needs and He has not failed any of us yet.  

    -Incoming staff with an education background start at $22/hour for 35 hours per week for 43 weeks.

    -Incoming staff with/out an education background start at $20/hour for 28 hours per week for 38 weeks, after they complete a successful internship period within GVA. 

    -All GVA staff members are eligible for a 70% discount off of student fees for each personal registered child.

    We encourage applicants to prayerfully consider this aspect of ministry work and to be sure they are comfortable with this compensation structure before proceeding with the application process. We are grateful for those who feel called to serve alongside us in this important work.
