Tuck's Rock Dojo - Band Program Registration

Tuck's Rock Dojo is creating bands by connecting like minded musicians age 12-18. At the Dojo you learn how to play the songs you like and how to work as a team with mentorship. Bands will have opportunities to showcase their sets. These opportunities give each band member a chance to play for real audiences and perfect their stage performance skills. Building their confidence in a field that they love and are encouraged to do better at.

Our band program is designed to inspire and empower musicians by building groups based on their musical preferences and skill levels. This program is about growth, collaboration, and sharing your passion through music.

Band practice is held weekly for a duration of 2 hours. Please select the evenings that work best for you throughout the school year. We will have several band performances spaced approximately 6-8 weeks apart.

Important: There will be no practice during school breaks (excpet on September 7) or on bank holidays (as per the Dresden School District's calendar). Please see tucksrockdojo.com for times the Dojo is closed.

Joining a band requires a commitment to practicing the material covered in rehearsals. Please let us know about any additional commitments you have (such as sports, theater, or other activities) so we can plan accordingly.

Registration closes on August 20, 2026

Once we know how many musicians would like to be in a band, what musical skills they have, what kind of music they listen to, we can start constructing the bands between August 20-31.

If you have not been in a band at the Dojo yet, we will reach out to set up an audition.

By September 1st you will know what would be your band rehearsal schedule.

First band practices are scheduled for the week of September 7.

(please note, registration does not mean a 100% guarantee for band placement, as many criteria needs to be met for a band to be born, but we will try our absolute best to make it happen)

BAND LOGISTICS / TUITION

The band program is invoiced by sessions. One session consist of 6 occasions - One occasion being either a band practice at Tuck's Rock Dojo or a performance.

TUITION: 1 SESSION: $330 for instrumentalists, and $270 for singers.

We can not offer credit or refund if you miss a band practice or a show.
