Why Should You be a Redcoat Ambassador? The first question should really be what is a Lawton Redcoat Ambassador? We are ambassadors to the Lawton Fort Sill Community, promoting businesses and supporting the Lawton Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce in a multitude of functions. You actually learn what the Chamber does, benefits of being a Chamber member, and how being a member affects your business. You support your community, through your participation in Chamber activities.
A. The Redcoats have been formed to:
1. Promote Lawton businesses and support LFSCC functions.
2. Provide a friendly handshake and greeting to visiting dignitaries
3. Attend ribbon cuttings and grand openings
4. Accept the responsibility for creating the local Lawton image as a friendly “go getter”.
5. Assist in the retention of existing LFSCC members and assist in the annual LFSCC membership drive.
6. Have fun and see that every hand is shaken at Luncheon Forums and other appropriate LFSCC functions.
7. Applicant must be free to leave his/her place of work at various times of the day for Redcoat functions.
8. Applicant must attend 70% of required functions during the 60-day probation period and 50% thereafter
9. Applicant must attend an orientation class upon acceptance by the Redcoat committee.
10. Redcoat Standing Rules and guidelines must be read by Applicant and initialed that he/she understands what is expected of him/her.
