Thank you for your interest in Grub Club! A collaborative project of Central Florida Mutual Aid, Blue Trunk Community Network, and Quakers of Orlando, Grub Club is a monthly bulk food buying club. For $30, participants receive a generous amount (usually 35-40 pounds) of fresh in-season produce and shelf stable items (like rice, beans, and tomato sauce), as well as a protein (participants choose organic eggs or tofu). The amount is greater and better quality than you would get from a grocery store. We have been running Grub Club since February and are now ready to expand to include more participants! This is also a mutual aid project, so shares may be purchased for others who cannot afford it (you may specify a person or we can find someone in the community who can benefit).
If you would like to participate in Grub Club and purchase a share for August, please fill out the form below. We have a total of 30 shares available on a first come, first served basis. If we still have shares available, we will ask you to make your payment within 24 hours of us notifying you. Payment can be received via Paypal, Venmo, or Zelle. Grub Club meets on the last Friday morning of every month, usually around 10am, to sort the items and create the baskets for pickup or delivery. Members are very welcome to help with this part! Pickup must be on the same day at one of three locations. If it is not possible for you to pick up your share, we will try to arrange delivery through another member.
Food is a human right, and through collaboration we can fill the gaps created by government and corporate failure. We’re excited to be expanding this project to bring more affordable food to more people!
