• Columbus County Watershed Drainage Management

    Public Feedback
  • Columbus County is developing a Watershed Drainage Management Plan to identify and prioritize drainage, flooding, and watershed management needs throughout the county. The completed plan will serve as a roadmap for debris management, streambank stabilization, flood mitigation, and future funding opportunities that strengthen community resilience across Columbus County.

Your input is essential to this effort. The project team is asking residents, property owners, businesses, and community stakeholders to share their experiences with flooding, drainage concerns, and roadway conditions. Your feedback will help identify priority areas and position Columbus County to pursue additional state and federal funding for future implementation projects.

    How to Participate

    1. Review the map (below) and survey questions.
    2. Identify locations where flooding or drainage issues have occurred.
