SYFO - PARENT AGREEMENT
PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT

• I WILL encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, and officials at every game and practice.
• I WILL place the emotional, mental, and physical well-being of my child ahead of my personal expectations and desire to win.
• I WILL support the coaches, officials, and program members working with my child.
• I WILL wait 24 hours after a practice or game has concluded before speaking with coaches about concerns arising on the field.
• I WILL remain in the spectator area during games and practices.
• I WILL NOT use profanity, make suggestive statements, encourage my child through financial incentives to hurt another player, or engage in inappropriate behavior in front of any child at practices or games.
• I WILL respect the referees and refrain from causing conflict during games.
• I WILL respect the coaches and allow them to coach my child without interference.
• I WILL refrain from posting negative content about the program, coaches, referees, or other players on any social media outlet.

These expectations apply not only to me, but also to every person who accompanies me to practices or games. I understand that I and all persons associated with me will be held to this Code of Conduct. Any violation may result in my removal from the game or practice and a ban from future contests during the current season. Continued noncompliance may result in my child being removed from the program for the remainder of the current season.

EQUIPMENT RELEASE AGREEMENT
To be signed by the registering parent or guardian of the player.

• I AGREE that I am responsible for any and all equipment issued to my player by the Sturgis Youth Football and Cheer Organization.
• I UNDERSTAND that this equipment must be properly cared for both on and off the field until the season concludes.
• I UNDERSTAND that all issued equipment is temporarily loaned, is not owned by my player, and must be returned immediately at the conclusion of the season.
• I UNDERSTAND that this equipment has a cost to the program and that I am financially responsible for all equipment signed out to my player.
• I UNDERSTAND that damage beyond normal wear and tear is my responsibility. The program will assess the damage and determine the amount due, which must be paid in full.
• I UNDERSTAND that it is my responsibility to promptly inform the coach or program of any equipment damage beyond normal wear and tear that needs to be addressed.
• I UNDERSTAND that any equipment not returned at the end of the season will be considered lost or stolen and may be pursued through appropriate legal action.

I AGREE to these terms and conditions and acknowledge that I am signing this agreement with full knowledge of the expectations and possible consequences. The Sturgis Youth Football and Cheer Organization has the right to hold all signing parties financially responsible for equipment that is not returned or is returned damaged.
