Leonardo’s Discovery After-School: STEM Club
Leonardo's STEM Club gives kids in 3rd–6th grade a place to explore and grow their interest in science, technology, engineering, and math alongside like-minded, curious kids. Fall STEM Club consists of twelve weekly meetings where club members will dive deep into age-appropriate lessons on physics, engineering, chemistry, technology, and much more.
Each meeting starts with a snack and a brief open discussion, followed by a presentation and demonstration from our club teacher about a fun STEM topic, and concludes with a weekly challenge where club members apply what they learned by collaborating in teams to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to find the best solution.
Leonardo's STEM Club is a truly immersive and supportive experience, where club members are encouraged to be part of the discussion, try something new, take risks, and even fail, because the most important part is what we learn from it.
