Civic Leaders Academy: Young Leaders (Rising 6th–8th Grade)
Explore big ideas, speak up, and learn how to make your voice heard! The Civic Leaders Academy: Young Leaders Program is open to students entering 6th through 8th grade who are curious about the world and want to develop real skills in public speaking, podcasting, and leadership. You’ll work in small groups to research a social issue you care about, share your opinions in thoughtful conversations, record your very own podcast episode, and participate on a community panel. No experience is needed - just a passion for learning and speaking out.
Civic Leaders Academy: Teen Leaders (Rising 9th–12th Grade)
Take your leadership to the next level and use your voice for change! The Civic Leaders Academy: Teen Leaders Program is designed for high school students ready to dive into real-world issues, sharpen their communication skills, and grow as changemakers. In small teams, you'll research a topic you care about, discuss different perspectives, and record a podcast to share your insights. You’ll also take part in a public community panel. This is a space for emerging leaders of all experience levels - whether you're just getting started or already speaking out.
