    Arts Gowanus is partnering with the MTA to beautify the vacant retail spaces at 4th Ave/9th St. Station in Gowanus! 

    Artwork will be installed in the interior of the window units, facing out to the sidewalk. Visitors can't enter the space, but rather will view the work from the sidewalk. Each window is apprroximately 8-12 feet wide. (See images below) 

    Artists are invited to submit up to five 2D works for consideration, to be reproduced and enlarged by Arts Gowanus for display in the window bays; if selected, these artists will receive a stipend of $500 and Arts Gowanus will cover the cost and labor of printing and installation. Each installation will be on view for 6-12 months
