Galashiels Cluster School to Club Opportunities!
If you would like help advertising your junior club sessions, please take a couple of minutes to answer the below questions. All information will be collated and advertised around the primary schools and high school in the Galashiels cluster by social media, mail drops and noticeboards.

A school-club link is a two-way partnership between a school and local sports club, developed to provide opportunities for children and young people to get involved in sport and raise awareness of the club within the school community. Creating school-club links helps to create continuity between school and community sport and enables pupils to further their enjoyment, skills and experience by continuing to participant in their local community.

What are the benefits of making a School-Club Link with Active Schools?

· Direct liaison with all cluster schools

· Potential to increase junior participation and membership

· Increased profile and awareness of the club in the local community

· Opportunities to identify talent early on

· Potential to increase numbers of young leaders assisting at the club
