#TeensCreate Scholarship Application

Overview

The Schlow Library Foundation #TeensCreate Art Scholarship is designed to empower young artists within the Centre Region. This award will help middle and high school students further their experiences, education, and practice in the visual arts and art literacies.

Students must have exhibited within the last calendar year (March-February). The deadline for consideration is March 31 for the prior year of exhibitions. The winner will be selected and notified by April 15 with the scholarship awarded at the May Schlow Library Foundation board meeting.

Applicants must be enrolled in middle or high school OR be between the ages of 12 and 18. See Guidelines for eligibility criteria and scholarship requirements

- High-resolution JPG or PDF of your exhibited piece
- 250–500 word Artist Statement & Future Plans essay
- One (1) signed paragraph of recommendation
