Breaking Ground New Works Submission Form

Our Festival's purpose is to nurture diverse voices in script development and production. Launching for one week in early June 2027, the Maltz Jupiter Theatre will showcase a curated selection of new plays and original musicals across multiple performance spaces within our Theatre. This event offers an opportunity for playwrights to collaborate and workshop their scripts in an environment where unique voices can fully bloom on stage.

Please note the following dates:

November 16, 2026: Deadline for Synopsis Submissions

November 30, 2026: Playwrights will receive notification regarding the selection status of their synopsis.

June 1 - June 6, 2027: Breaking Ground Festival Dates
