    Description:
    In this Mini series, we will be discussing the intersections of Substance Use, Frontline work and Harm Reduction, and how Grief can show up along each path. This is a 3 part series, one live event on August 31 (International Overdose Awareness Day) and two additional follow up conversations which will be sent to registrants emails mid-September

    Part 1(Live):
    Dr. Marcus Greatheart will start with a live presentation on International Overdose Awareness Day, August 31 with a live discussion on "Remaining Human while Working in Systems where Grief is a Constant Companion". This presentation is meant to be engaging discourse, and will have opportunity to connect with the facilitators directly. Registration will include questions from registrants for the facilitators.

    Part 2 (Pre-Recorded):
    Davy Rose - Harm Reduction Specialist with Nova Scotia Health, discussing the local histories, current events and overall stigmatization of Substance Use and where Grief can show up within frontline work. 

    Part 3 (Pre-Recorded):
    Kimm Kent - Project Director and Co-founder of Peer Outreach Support Services & Education (POSSEE) will discuss Harm Reduction and Grief from a Frontline, Peer Support and Community grass roots lens that offers lived experience examples and human connection to support those who are using substances.
