  • WAIVER OF LIABILITY

    All members, handlers, participants and spectators must sign.

    I,  the undersigned, hereby waive and release all individuals, including property owners, dog owners, participants, spectators, etc., from any and all liability in relation to my attendance at activities as further described herein this waiver. The dog sport activities includes locations such as private and public properties, including private residences. I understand that the primary purpose of activities is to train for the sport of Schutzhund and other dog sports. I am aware that canine sports and training involve possible risks, not limited to, slips, falls, bites, and other bodily injury, disease, loss or death.

    I understand my release of liability includes any action or cause of action for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death. I hereby agree to indemnity, save and hold harmless all individual participating or spectating, it’s members, officers, helpers, handlers or property owners from any loss, liability, damage, or death, including attorney’s fees, and agree further that under no circumstance, shall I prosecute or present any claim against Battery Point Working Dog Club, it’s members, officers, helpers, handlers, or property owners for any claim whether the claim arises by negligence or non-intentional conduct from anyone describe herein, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This agreement shall bind the members of my family and my spouse, my heirs, assigns and personal representatives.

    If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid by a court of law, it is agreed the balance of the agreement shall be valid and in full force and effect.

    I also agree to be fully and solely responsible for the actions of myself, my family and my dogs.

    I have read and voluntarily signed this agreement and further affirm that no oral representations, statements or inducements apart from the foregoing written agreement have been made.

  • ABOUT THE JUDGE: Barbara Molnar

     


    I have been involved in Schutzhund since 1994. With my first working dog, a Doberman female, I won the Hungarian Dobermann National Championship in 1997. Following her successful competition career, I acquired two additional Doberman females. Both earned IPO titles and competed extensively in conformation shows throughout Europe, including Austria, Italy, Germany, and Switzerland, where they achieved multiple championship titles.

    My involvement with a German Shepherd club in Hungary introduced me to the German Shepherd Dog breed, and I soon acquired my first German Shepherd. Together we earned an IPO3 title and competed successfully, achieving a highest placement of fourth place. I later owned a showline German Shepherd female who earned her BH title. Several years afterward, I acquired another German Shepherd Dog whom I trained to IPO3 and FH. With him, I earned a second place finish in competition in Hungary.

    Since the 1990s, I have bred 15 Doberman litters under my kennel. Dogs from my breeding program have achieved success in both working and conformation venues, including Italian Sieger (AIAD), National Club Winner titles throughout Europe, and working championships. Throughout my Schutzhund career, I have competed extensively across Europe with both Dobermans and German Shepherd Dogs, combining working achievements with notable conformation success. Among the highlights are Italian (AIAD) Sieger, Vice DV Siegerin (Germany), and IDC Siegerin (Slovakia) titles. Over the years, I have trained and titled approximately 18 dogs in a variety of working disciplines.

    Today, I actively compete in the United States with my German Shepherds Oszkar (IGP2, FH3) and Disha (IGP3, FH2), and I currently have a young German Shepherd in training. In addition, I serve as a volunteer area K9 handler with the Riverside County Search and Rescue team, working with my male German Shepherd Dog.

    I hold three master's degrees, including graduate studies in computer science and law. My professional background includes service in the United States Navy, several years in the information technology industry, and work as an attorney.

    Outside of dogs, my interests include traveling and camping, especially in deserts, as well as Texas Longhorn cattle, fountain pens, farming, ranching, and observing nature.

    It is a great honor to serve the United Schutzhund Clubs of America as a probationary judge. After more than three decades in the sport, becoming a judge represents an opportunity to give back to the Schutzhund community that has given me so much over the years. I am committed to providing fair, consistent, and constructive evaluations while upholding the standards and integrity of our sport. I hope to encourage newcomers, support competitors in their development, and
    contribute positively to the continued growth of working dog competition.
