    • Media Release

I understand and acknowledge that by participating in the New York Membership Tour Stop I am granting Funders for LGBTQ Issues and its authorized associates/vendors, affiliates, and agents permission to use any video, audio, photography, and written statements made for or during this event for their future use.

I understand that if I do not agree to the above, for ease of my attendance and Funders for LGBTQ Issues’ documentation of the event, I agree to wear an identifier during the event and be aware of any pre-set cameras. I understand that the Event Team may share additional participation guidelines as we get closer to the event.

    • Do you agree to the media release?*
    • Health Policy

Funders for LGBTQ Issues prioritizes the health and safety of our guests, staff, and the communities we convene. We ask that all in-person attendees do their part to help keep everyone safe. To support this commitment, we have outlined guidelines for attending the Vaid Summit to create an event that is as safe and accessible as possible.

      Personal Health & Safety

      • Take reasonable precautions while attending the event to help prevent the spread of illness - for example, staying up to date on vaccinations, wearing a mask if you have a cough or symptoms, and washing your hands frequently.
      • Please do not attend in person if you are sick or may have been exposed to a respiratory virus (such as the flu, RSV, or COVID-19). If you feel unwell, have symptoms, are awaiting test results, or have had recent close contact with someone who is ill, we ask that you stay home.
      • You understand that attending a public event carries an inherent risk of exposure to communicable diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19, and you voluntarily assume all such risks.

      Compliance with Guidelines

      • Follow all applicable health and safety requirements, including those issued by local, state, and federal authorities, as well as any event-specific guidelines provided on-site at the venue, in the event app, or by event management.

      Testing

      • We encourage you to test before traveling to New York, as attendees with a positive test will not be admitted.
      • If you feel unwell or test positive for COVID-19 at any point while in New York, or during the three days after you leave the Vaid Summit , please notify our Event Team as soon as you receive the result. Email michelle@lgbtfunders.org with the subject line “Feeling Unwell,” and please include details on when you started feeling unwell and/or tested positive. Your personal information will be kept confidential. Do not attend the remaining sessions in-person. We recommend monitoring your symptoms closely and seeking medical care if necessary.

      Food & Dietary Considerations

      • Event meals and snacks will be curated with dietary accessibility in mind, including options for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other common dietary needs.
      • Specific dietary restrictions and allergy concerns will be collected during registration, and updates can be sent to support@conveningtowardliberation.com with " Vaid Summit" as part of the subject line.
      • To support the health and safety of all attendees, please be aware that some foods (e.g., peanuts and shellfish) can activate severe allergic reactions through airborne exposure. We ask that attendees avoid bringing these items into the conference venue. Any additional severe airborne allergens to avoid will be communicated in advance, whenever possible.
    • Safety & Security Agreement

I understand that details about the event location(s) will not be shared publicly and will only be available once I am registered. I agree not to share this information with anyone not attending the event, and I acknowledge that additional safety and security information and guidelines will be provided to attendees closer to the event.
