This form is for businesses and organizations interested in hosting a high school intern in Southeastern Ohio, Wood County, WV and the 32 Appalachian counties of Ohio.
After submission, BB2C will share your information with the local internship coordinator who works with your county/community/school district. Your local internship coordinator will then follow-up with you directly.
Internships are a minimum of 30-35 hours. Matches are made when a student's professional interest matches the needs of a business/organization. Internships may be longer. Interns are responsible for arranging reliable transportation to and from the internship site.
An internship match is not guaranteed for any business or organization. Once a match is made, the Internship Coordinator will work with both the student and business to launch the internship. They will then be available throughout the internship

Once this form is submitted, Anna Reed will reach out to further discuss placement preferences, a job description, and the internship process. An internship match is not always immediate, the business' information will be recorded and displayed as an open internship for students who are interested, a placement will occur when a student is found to fill the internship.
Internships are conducted in cycles that align with the academic calendar:
- Fall Semester (September through December)
- Spring Semester (January through April)
- Summer (May through August)
2. High school interns will not be discriminated against in terms of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, physical ability, mental ability, gender, sex, religion, or country of origin. English proficiency is preferred. High school seniors and juniors will be given preference to sophomores and first-year students when filling competitive positions.
