• Nightmares and Dreamscapes Exhibit Entry

  • Dear Artists,

    Please join us for this October Pop-Up exhibit of Nightmares and Dreamscapes!

    • Artwork should be themed around the concept of Nightmares and Dreamscapes. The theme is open to interpretation by the artists.
    • Artist are limited to one (1) piece of artwork per entry
    • Open to all mediums
    • Artwork should not exceed 20” x 24” for 2D work or a 20" x 24" base for 3D work
    • Artwork must be ready to hang
    • Artwork must be for sale

    Work will be displayed in the Studio 23 gallery window from October 2 to November 3rd, 2026.

    The theme is open to interpretation, so find your inspiration in whatever haunts your dreams!

     

    Entry fee is $5 for Studio members and $10 for non-members, payable by calling Studio 23 at 989-894-2323 or in person at 901 N. Water St, Bay City, MI 48708. Artists may pay entry fee upon delivery of work. 

    Important Dates:

    • Registration Deadline: Monday, September 28, 11:59 p.m.
    • Drop-off artwork: November 29 - October 1, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. or by appointment.
    • Pick-up artwork: November 3 - 6, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. or by appointment.
    • Show displayed October 2 – November 3rd, 2026.

  • Artists Requirements:                                                          

    • Artists must pre-register online
    • Artwork should be themed around Nightmares and Dreamscapes as interpreted by the artist
    • Open to all mediums
    • Artwork should not exceed 20” x 24”
    • Frames should not exceed 4” in width.
    • Work on paper must be framed and under glass/Plexiglas.
    • Artwork must be for sale
    • All work must be created solely by the artist


    Art Sales
    Sales commission is 40% to Studio 23, the event sponsor, and 60% to the artist, and is required for all artwork sold. Please take this into consideration when setting price. All work that is submitted must be for sale. No NFS (Not For Sale) artwork is allowed to be submitted to Nightmares and Dreamscapes Exhibit. Artwork should be priced in accordance with the artist’s current pricing structure. All sales handled by Studio 23. Artists will receive payment within four weeks of exhibit end.

     

    While Nightmares and Dreamsacapes is not a juried exhibit, all work is subject to be displayed at the discretion of Studio 23's Curator of Exhibits. Please be mindful of content as the exhibit will be facing the public in our front windows.
