Current North Carolina USBC members are eligible for recognition in the North Carolina USBC Hall of Fame based off of the following criteria:
Superior Performance
Bowlers recognized for this award have shown outstanding scores on the lanes and in competition. These bowlers are dedicated to high level competition in the sport of bowling. These bowlers also demonstrate outstanding character and hospitality on and off the lanes. Committee may waive these qualification requirements.
The following qualifications must be met to be considered for Superior Performance:
1. Bowler must be 35 years of age or older at time of application.
2. Bowler must have a current average above 210 for males and 200 for females, or have had a 200/190 average in previous competition if not currently competing.
3. Have competed in NC State events at least 5 seasons.
Alternatively, an NC bowler (current or former) may be nominated for outstanding national achievements on the PBA Tour, PWBA Tour, USBC Open Championships, USBC Women's Championships, Junior Gold / Team USA, or any past iterations of professional or high level amateur competition.
The NC USBC Board will induct up to 2 members to the Superior Performance Hall of Fame annually unless special circumstances apply, but may induct less. A nominee must receive at least 67 percent of the vote for induction from the committee to be inducted.
