• 2026 Northern Training:

Tribal and Rural Communities Addressing Gender Based Violence

    September 2, 9am-3:45pm | September 3, 9am-4:00 pm

In partnership with Waking Women Healing Institute and Bad River Zhwenindig Program, End Abuse welcomes you! Join us as we center tribal and rural advocacy, safety planning, and resistance to the ongoing and destructive harm caused by the Enbridge Line 5 pipeline. The line 5 pipeline is expected to move through thousands of acres of Indigenous Lands, waterways, and homes to many living beings.

    Highlights:

    • Intersections of land and body violence - ways to heal, prevent and respond.
    • Learn about the pipeline and its impact on tribal and neighboring communities.
    • Sexual violence and man camps near tribal communities.
    • Ways to come together as co-conspirators to protect against ongoing harm from pipeline construction.

Generous break time will be included between workshops. A detailed agenda will be shared closer to the date of the training.

Cost: Free for End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin Program Members, Survivor-Serving Advocates and Agencies/$175 for all others.
