Karen was a loving daughter, a protective sister, and a beautiful soul. Karen always had a smile on her face and was incredibly kind to her patients. It makes perfect sense that she chose nursing, a career where she could help people during some of their hardest moments. Until her very last days, Karen remained resilient and continued studying for her upcoming nursing exam because that was the strong and determined woman she was. Through this scholarship, Karen is still making a difference and helping future healthcare workers achieve their dreams. Her beautiful soul will continue to live on through every person her legacy touches.
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

- Be accepted to or currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or technical program related to nursing or an allied health profession
- Have demonstrated financial need
- Express an interest in supporting underserved communities
