• 2026-2027 Dearborn County Recycling Center Scholarship Application

    Please read and complete the entire application. Leave no spaces blank - write "Not Applicable" or "NA" where appropriate. All items must be completed. If you need additional space for answers, please include a separate document with your application.

    Application Deadline: March 12, 2027.

    The winners will be chosen by April 30, 2027.

    Pending adequate submissions, one award winner may be selected for each high school in Dearborn County (East Central High School, Lawrenceburg High School, and South Dearborn High School) from the entries received. The individual scholarship will be $500 per student.

    Eligibility:

    • The applicant must attend and be a graduating senior at East Central High School, Lawrenceburg High School, or South Dearborn High School.
    • The recipient of this scholarship must commit to attending as a full-time student at any college or university pursuing a degree in environmental studies.
    • The applicant should have a GPA of 3.0 or higher as of the application deadline.
       

    Application Guidelines:

    • Nominated applicants must complete and submit the online form
    • ONE personalized letter of recommendation from a teacher or community leader.
    • The applicant may be asked to participate in a Zoom interview with members of the Dearborn County Recycling Center and members of the Citizens’ Advisory Committee. The candidates will be asked about their involvement in clubs and volunteer hours.
