The Voter Engagement Mini Grant is a new funding opportunity for South Carolina organizations and community groups to participate in voter engagement initiatives to educate, register, and activate voters. This funding opportunity is made possible by generous support from the Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation and SC Counts. Its purpose is to assist member organizations with costs associated with voter engagement education and outreach. Eligible expenses include meals, rental space, transportation, signage, materials, supplies and equipment. Mini-grants are available up to $500 depending on the level of activities your organization has planned and the resources needed. THIS IS AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS ONLY!

Resources for Nonprofit Voter Engagement: Under IRS guidelines, 501(c)3 organizations can engage in voter education and mobilization activities, provided these activities are conducted in a nonpartisan manner.
Important South Carolina Voting Dates:
- October 2, 2026: Deadline to register to vote in person
- October 19, 2026: Early Voting General Election
- November 3, 2026: General Election
Eligibility
- Organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or has a relationship with a 501c3 who serves as its fiscal agent.
- Proposed activities MUST be non-partisan and cannot endorse any specific candidates or political party.
