Kids Open Mic is an open community performance event, not childcare, not a school activity, not child-minding and not a supervised youth program.
Kids Open Mic is an open community performance event, not childcare, not a school activity, not child-minding and not a supervised youth program. The parent/guardian remains responsible for the performer before, during and after the event. Performers under 16 must have a responsible parent/guardian or authorised adult physically present for the entire event. The venue, organisers, volunteers and other participants are not taking the child into their care or supervision. Participation is voluntary and at the performer’s and parent/guardian’s own risk, subject to applicable law and venue/event safety requirements. All instruments, cases, phones, tablets, backing-track devices and other personal property remain the responsibility of the performer and parent/guardian. The venue and organisers are not responsible for loss, theft or damage except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Photography, Filming & Media Acknowledgement
Kids Open Mic performances and the surrounding event WILL be photographed and filmed, and selected photos, video and audio may be used on websites, social media, digital channels, event recaps and future event promotion. Photography and filming is a condition of participation. The performer will not be tagged and their full name, age, school or other identifying personal details will not be published with those posts unless separate explicit permission is obtained.
