    BMO Kids Play BC! is an initiative in partnership with BMO that aims to increase soccer participation across the province and provide youth with opportunities to engage in the sport through in-person training, coaching development, festivals, and learning experiences.

    Coaches are given the opportunity to complete the BC Soccer FUNdamentals coaching workshop, which includes 1.5 hours of online theory (to be completed in advance) and the 3 hours of on-field training at the event. Additionally, coaches are asked to participate in the Player Festival to practice their newly learned skills and serve as role models for the players.

    BEFORE YOU REGISTER

    Are you eligible? Coaches must be at least 14 years old by September 26, 2026. Priority will be given to applicants aged 19 and under.

    How much does this cost? Nothing! This is completely FREE.

    What is expected of you? The Fundamentals online theory modules must be completed by September 23 the latest.

    After registration, you will receive detailed information on how to proceed.

    This event is an innovative soccer activation and leadership day, engaging kids through coaching and playing opportunities. Registered players will get the opportunity to participate in small-sided games and have a fun soccer afternoon!

    • 1:30pm to 2:00pm (sign in and warm-up)

    • 3:00pm to 3:30pm (cool down and pizza!)
