Thinking of Cancelling? Consider Reducing Instead
  • Why staying in the water matters
Just one hour of swimming each week can make a meaningful difference. It helps swimmers stay active, build confidence, support their mental wellbeing, and maintain a sense of connection.

Taking a complete break can make it harder to maintain routine and skills, which can make returning to swimming feel like a bigger step later on.

For children, staying involved in sport matters. Research shows that up to 70% of children stop participating in organised sport by age 13. Continuing with swimming can help keep children active, confident and connected, supporting both their physical health and mental wellbeing.
