2026 Peggy Cianciola Memorial Scholarship Program Application

Welcome to the Peggy Cianciola Memorial Scholarship Application!

The Peggy Cianciola Memorial Scholarship honors Peggy's memory by supporting USBC-certified youth and collegiate bowlers as they pursue higher education. The program recognizes students who show growth, leadership, and a positive impact through bowling, while encouraging academic excellence, sportsmanship, and community involvement.

The program is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and awards two $500 scholarships each year through SMART.

How to Apply: Fill out this form and tell us about your bowling people.

Choose one submission format:
- A 500–1000 word essay
  or
- A 2–3 minute video (.mp4)
Deadline: All entries must be submitted by October 9, 11:59 PM.

Selection & Awards:
- Winners will be selected by a committee and notified by October 19, 2026.
- Winners are invited to an award presentation at Let it Roll Bowl during the 13th Annual Take Out 10 for Cancer event on Sunday, October 25, 2026.
- Scholarship funds are awarded through SMART, the USBC's scholarship management program. Funds are held in the recipient's SMART account and used for education after high school graduation.

Peggy coached Saturday morning youth leagues and later managed the center where a lot of those same kids ended up working for her. Her bowlers called her Mother Duck. She called them her peeps.
