Terms & Conditions
Mars Production LLC is the parent company of Great Lakes Photography
Please read these terms and conditions before using our services. By accessing our service or website you areentering into an agreement with the company, for the supply of our service. The contracting party and everyguest are agreed to be bound by our terms and conditions.Great Lakes Photography reserves the right to change, modify, add, or remove any portion of these terms and conditions atany time. If we revise our terms and conditions, the changes shall be posted on our website.If we change our condition during or after signing a contract, the new condition will not be effective foralready signed customers, until their next service.If you do not agree with our terms and conditions, pleaserefrain from any further access to our service.
Payment terms
The contracting party agrees to pay 50% or more total invoice value at the time of booking.The remaining balance must be paid 1 week prior to the event. If the contracting party fails topay the remaining balance before the event day, Great Lakes Photography reserves the right to revoke thecontract and the deposit will not be refunded.If the package includes any custom decor or work, the deposit amount will be 60%.Once the company receives the deposit along with a signed contract, our service will beconfirmed and effective.The client will pay rental fee and security deposit aside from booking fee for any items provided by Great Lakes Photography. The security deposit will be refunded upon the return of all renteditems. All rented items must be returned in good condition to the service provider no laterthan 1 business day after the event. Rental fees will be reinstated for each day after astipulated time frame. Delivery fees for rental items can apply.
Cancellation terms
If for any reason the contracting party wants to cancel the booking, the deposit of 50% of totalinvoice will be forfeited. But if the contracting party cancels within 1 month prior to the eventdate, Great lakes Photography shall be liable to refund the deposit back.Great lakes Photography has the right to cancel the event one month prior to the date for variable reasons and without any liabilities.
RESCHEDULING
If the Client requests to move the event to another date, the new date is subject to the Company’s availability.A date change does not automatically guarantee availability.If the Company is unavailable on the requested new date, the original cancellation terms may apply unlessotherwise agreed in writing.Any additional costs resulting from a rescheduled event must be agreed upon by both parties in writing.
COMPANY CANCELLATION
Greatlakes Photography will make reasonable efforts to perform the contracted services.If the Company becomes unable to perform because of serious illness, emergency, accident, equipment failure,family emergency, or another circumstance beyond the Company’s reasonable control, the Company may attemptto provide a qualified replacement photographer/videographer.If a suitable replacement cannot be obtained, the Company’s liability will generally be limited to amounts actuallypaid by the Client for services that were not provided, except where a greater remedy is required by applicable law.

FORCE MAJEURE
Neither party will be considered in breach of this Agreement for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyondthat party’s reasonable control, including but not limited to:• Severe weather• Natural disasters• Fire• Flood• Government restrictions• Venue closure• Civil emergency• War or terrorism• Pandemic or epidemic restrictions• Serious illness or injury• Transportation emergencies• Power outages• Equipment failure despite reasonable precautions• Other circumstances that could not reasonably be prevented or controlledThe parties will make reasonable efforts to reschedule services when practical.
VENUE & CEREMONY RESTRICTIONS
The Client understands that the Company must follow all reasonable rules and restrictions imposed by the venue,religious institution, event coordinator, security personnel, or event management.If the venue prohibits photography or videography in certain areas, restricts flash, restricts movement, prohibitscertain equipment, or otherwise limits coverage, the Company will comply with those restrictions.The Company is not responsible for missed photographs or video caused by venue restrictions, guest interference,schedule changes, lack of access, or restrictions imposed by the Client or venue.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY FOR EVENT SCHEDULE
The Client is responsible for providing an accurate schedule and informing the Company of important events,including:• Ceremony• Entrance• Family portraits• Couple portraits• Speeches• Cake cutting• First dance• Special dances• Cultural ceremonies• Exit/send-off• Other important eventsThe Company cannot guarantee coverage of an event that occurs outside the contracted coverage period or withoutreasonable notice.

PHOTO & VIDEO QUALITY
The Client understands that photography and videography are creative services.The Company will use professional judgment regarding:• Composition• Lighting• Exposure• Camera angles• Editing• Color grading• Image selection• Video editing• Music selection• Artistic styleThe Client acknowledges that the final photographs and videos may vary from examples previously viewed becauseevery event, venue, lighting condition, subject, and situation is different.
MISSED PHOTOGRAPHS OR FOOTAGE
The Company will make reasonable professional efforts to capture important moments.Greatlakes Photography • Confidential Client Agreement Page 5However, the Company cannot guarantee the capture of every individual, moment, guest, or event.The Company will not be responsible for missed photographs or footage caused by:• Guests blocking the photographer/videographer• Guests interfering with equipment• Venue restrictions• Poor lighting• Weather• Client or guest lateness• Schedule changes• Events occurring outside contracted coverage• Restricted access• Failure of the Client or venue to notify the Company of an important event• Other circumstances outside the Company’s reasonable control
Decoration & Damage control
Setup time is based on the size, location, and style of the event.To have quality guaranteedservice, our decoration team needs to have the location ready 3-4 hours prior to the event.The contracting party is liable to pay full for any damages or loss to any kind of our equipmentand furniture. Any mark, scratches or breaking part of our furniture will also be considered asdamages. We are not liable for any damages at the event.Any kind of damages, including, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or third partydamage will be a full liability for the contracting party except where damage is caused by Great Lakes Photography and its servicing people or agents. The contracting party must pay the currentmarket value of the damaged property.Insurance does not cover any kind of damages occurred by a client at the event.
Conditions for Dj service
If there’s any special songs the client wants the DJ to play/use during the event, the list of thesongs has to be shared with the DJ at least 2 days prior to the event.Our standard DJ package does not include Emcee service therefore no emcee/hosting servicecan be requested throughout the event.If the client books emcee service, the itinerary of the event must be shared/provided at leastone week prior to the event. Last minute changes to the itinerary may cause interruption tothe service.

Condition for photography and cinematography
To perform cinematography and photography in an outdoor location or in private places forthe event, the client is fully responsible for any kind of necessary permission, clearance ofpermits from the authority.Team Great lakes Photography will not ask for permission to take photos and videos to any guests. The clientwill be responsible to get/manage permission for all. Great lakes Photography reserves the right to any image and video taken at the event. Although Great Lakes Photography gives full permission to the clients to use the image and videos. Great lakes Photography reserves the rights to not provide any raw video footage and photos to the client. However, if there is a request for raw photo and video footage, the client has to pay an additional amount.Clients can provide any specific videos, additional photos, music to use in the final video swithin 2 days after the event. but if information is not provided, Great Lakes Photography will use music and materials as they desire, and no modification can be done after delivering the final output The time frame of the service is firm and cannot be exceeded. If the client exceeds the timeframe, additional fees will be charged.It takes 10-12 weeks for photos and takes 8-10 weeks for videos to be ready. The process canbe expedited with an additional charge.All the photos and videos will be stored for 120 days. The term will start from the day output is delivered to the client. All the data will be automatically removed after 120 days and cannot be restored.
Deportment
The contracting party and each guest are agreed to abide by the terms and condition of Great lakes Photography. If anyone behaves/acts out of manner with the service providers, members of Great lakes Photography have the right to depart from the venue.
Service issues
We will always contact the person who signed the contract for any kind of necessity. Our clientwill also provide an emergency contact. If the contract signed person is not available, we willcontact the person provided as emergency contact.The emergency contact will be contacted only for minor purposes. The person will not becontacted for payment and legal issues.No last minute changes and negotiations are acceptable.
Legal issues
Great lakes Photography agreed and understood that the law of Michigan state shall govern this agreement.In the event of non-payment Great lakes Photography retains the right to attempt collection through all legaland permissible.Client will be responsible for all court fees, legal fees and collection costs included by Great lakes Photography.
Out-of-State Event & Travel Policy
The contracting party agrees to pay 100% of the payment including travel fee at the time ofbooking.If for any reason the contracting party wants to cancel the booking, only 50% of the totalinvoice will be refunded if canceled at least two weeks prior to the event dateThere will be an additional 20% fee for rescheduling the event date. In an event ofrescheduling, if the new date does not correspond with our availability, we would not be ableto provide the service at your event, any balance which was paid will not be refunded.Great lakes Photography shall be responsible to cover the cost of flight, hotel, and transportation.
