Cranbourne Calisthenics College is inviting Expressions of Interest from passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic students who are interested in becoming a Foundation Coach or Class Helper in 2027.
These roles are designed to provide students with valuable hands-on experience within the coaching environment while developing their confidence, leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
We are looking for students who are committed to creating a positive, inclusive and supportive environment, are willing to learn and take on responsibility, and are passionate about supporting younger members in their calisthenics journey.
Becoming a Foundation Coach or Class Helper is an exciting first step for students who are interested in pursuing a future coaching pathway and working towards becoming a qualified Development Coach (Level 1).
This program provides students with the opportunity to learn from experienced coaches, gain practical experience and begin developing the skills and confidence required to become future coaches and leaders within Cranbourne Calisthenics College.
Class Helper
Class Helpers play an important supporting role within their allocated section. Helpers are encouraged to attend all scheduled classes and competitions wherever possible, with the exception of any clashes with their own classes, competitions or other approved commitments.
This role provides students with practical experience in assisting with classes, working with participants and learning from experienced coaches.

Foundation Coach
The Foundation Coach role is designed for students who are taking the next step in their coaching journey and working towards becoming a qualified Development Coach (Level 1).
Foundation Coaches will have increased responsibility within their allocated section and will have the opportunity to further develop their coaching, leadership, communication and class management skills under the guidance of an experienced Section Coach.
Expectations
Foundation Coaches and Class Helpers are voluntary roles within Cranbourne Calisthenics College.
Foundation Coaches and Class Helpers are expected to;
- Wear the correct club uniform to all classes and competitions
- Arrive on time and be prepared to assist
- Follow the direction and guidance of the Section Coach at all times
- Support and encourage younger participants in a positive and respectful manner
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability and a positive attitude
Selection Process
All applications will be carefully considered by the Executive Committee.
The number of Foundation Coaches and Helpers appointed will be determined by the needs and enrolments of each section. Appointments will be based on a range of factors, including experience, teamwork, leadership qualities, communication skills and reliability.
